Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Bean. You confirm your age during onboarding.

You must be legally allowed to enter into a contract in your country and not be barred from using the service under applicable law.

You promise that the photos you upload are of you, that you have the right to use them, and that they show your face clearly. Do not upload photos of anyone else.

You are responsible for the activity on your account. Keep your password safe.

You can edit, hide, or permanently delete your profile at any time from the Me tab.

Bean uses AI to generate illustrative previews of what a child of two adults could look like. These images are not medical predictions, not photographs of real children, and not evidence of biological parentage.

Do not use the previews for any medical, legal, or genealogical purpose.

Be respectful in messages. Harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, threats, spam, impersonation, or nudity of any kind are not allowed and will end your account.

You can report or block anyone at any time from their profile or a match. Reports are reviewed by our team.

You keep ownership of your photos. You grant Bean a limited, non-exclusive licence to store your photos and to use them to generate baby previews shown to potential matches. This licence ends when you delete your account.

AI-generated baby previews are stored so both people in a possible match see the same image. Deleting your account also deletes previews that only involve you.

Bean gives every member 3 free swipes per day. The counter resets at midnight UTC — the app shows the reset time in your local timezone.

The limit exists to keep choices deliberate and applies equally to everyone on the free tier. Attempts to bypass it (multiple accounts, automated requests) violate these terms.

Bean Plus costs $3 per month and raises your daily swipe limit from 3 to 13. Prices may vary by region where local taxes apply; the checkout always shows the final amount before you pay.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.

You can cancel anytime from Me → Bean Plus → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Plus benefits until then.

Refunds follow Stripe's policies and applicable consumer law. Where you have a statutory right to withdraw, you can exercise it by contacting hello@get-bean.com within the statutory period.

If a renewal payment fails we keep Plus active for a short grace period, then your account returns to the free tier. Nothing else about your account changes.

While Bean opens in waves, new signups join a waitlist. Your position reflects signup order but is not a guarantee of access by a particular date, and positions may shift (for example through referral rewards).

Joining the waitlist creates a real account with your email so we can notify you when your spot opens. You can request deletion of a waitlisted account at any time by writing to privacy@get-bean.com.

We may add, change, or remove features. If a change materially affects you, we will do our best to tell you in advance.

We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms or the community guidelines, without prior notice for severe violations.

Bean is provided as is. We do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent allowed by law, Bean is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
