Community Guidelines
Bean is a small, warm room. These are the house rules — short on purpose.
Be who you actually are
Use recent photos of yourself with your face clearly visible. No photos of anyone else, no group-only shots, no filters that alter your face.
Your bio is short and true. Empty is fine; performative isn't.
Talk to people the way you'd want to be talked to
No harassment, threats, slurs, or targeted hate.
No unsolicited explicit content. If your match wants it, they'll ask.
"No" or silence both mean stop.
Keep it human
No bots, no promotional accounts, no soliciting money or off-platform business.
No AI-generated likenesses of other people — the whole product breaks if the parents aren't real.
Enforcement ladder
First minor violation: warning + affected content removed.
Repeated or serious violation: temporary suspension.
Severe (threats, minors, non-consensual imagery, doxxing): permanent ban and, where required, reported to authorities.
Appeals
If you think we got it wrong, reply to the action email or write to hello@get-bean.com. A human reviews every appeal.
