# Bean FAQ

## Is the baby in the pictures real?

No. Every preview is AI-generated from the photos you both uploaded — an illustration of a possibility, not a prediction. No real child is involved, ever.

## Who can see my photos?

Only people Bean pairs you with — and they mostly see the child previews, with your profile a tap away. Your photos are never public or searchable.

## Who sees the baby previews of me and someone else?

Just the two of you. Each preview belongs to one pair and is never shown to anyone else. Change your photos or delete your account and old previews are discarded.

## How does Bean decide who I see?

People whose preferences fit yours, both ways. Within that, a compatibility score from your onboarding answers orders the deck.

## Why only three swipes a day?

Infinite swiping makes everyone disposable. Three deliberate choices a day keeps you actually looking — and makes being seen worth something.

## What is Bean Plus and what does it cost?

$3.99 a month for 13 daily swipes instead of 3. Need a few more? A one-time $2 top-up adds 10 swipes that never expire. That's the whole price list — no boosts, no pay-to-be-seen. Payments are handled by Stripe.

## How do I cancel Bean Plus?

Anytime, from Me → Bean Plus → Manage subscription. You keep Plus until the end of your billing period. No emails to write, no retention flows.

## Why is there a waitlist?

Bean opens in waves so early members get real matches, not an empty room. Your spot is kept in order, and we email you the moment it's your turn. You can build your profile while you wait, so you're visible the second you're in, and your first month of Bean Plus is free.

## Can same-sex couples use Bean?

Of course. You choose who you're interested in, and Bean only pairs people whose preferences match both ways. The previews work for every pairing.

## What happens if I change my profile photos?

Previews involving you are regenerated from your new photos. Old ones are deleted — they no longer represent you.

## How do I delete my account and my data?

Me → Delete account. Profile, photos, answers, matches, messages, and every preview involving you — gone within 30 days, 90 from backups.

## Can I upload a photo of someone else?

No — it's the one rule we enforce hardest. Bean only works if the faces are real. Accounts using someone else's photos are removed.
